We Require
Five years of experience in a legal setting with knowledge in legal preparations or legal proceedings High School Diploma or GED Post-secondary education may substitute for one year of the experience requirement
Other Requirements
The Maricopa County Attorney's Office requires a thorough background check of all successful candidates and is authorized to test prospective employees for the presence of illegally accessed drugs. Drug testing is conducted once an offer has been extended and before placement Valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hire

Perform a full range of supervisory responsibilities over assigned support staff Monitor, direct, and delegate workloads to specified areas of the division Provide ongoing training and mentoring to the legal support specialists and legal support clerks Research and prepare statistics (daily, weekly, and monthly), monthly reports, evaluations, and staff assignments Assist with division recruitment efforts Complete division reports, memos, and email communications as directed by the Division Chief Generate notifications as required by Victim Rights statutes Direct support to the Division Chief Carry out the mission under the direction of the Division Chief Act as a backup for the Assistant Division Chief
Working Conditions
Mostly office setting that may require long periods of sitting while completing computer activities and moving about to perform tasks Ability to move up to 20 pounds from the floor to the waist and pushing/pulling 20 pounds a distance of up to 100 feet May be required to utilize the personal or County-owned vehicles to travel to and from other County locations
