Shift Lead/Quality

Shift Leader:

-Troubleshooting production issues, ensures operators have the necessary tools, gages, and job-related information, verify PPE compliance.

-Oversee production efficiency, ensure machines are running at optimal rates and address any downtime causes.

-Monitor and maintain communication tools, such as maintenance requests, scheduling boards, and message logs.

-Conduct brief team meetings on safety, process improvements, and production concerns.

-Perform all other duties as assigned.

Quality Assurance:

-Ensure all products, programs, and processes meet internal and customer quality standards, apply fitness-for-use principles where applicable.

-Review design, manufacturing, test, and supplier documentation, including operation sheets, setup sheets, process/test procedures, procurement documents, and quality manuals.

-Assist in evaluating customer returns and make salvage decisions.

-Conduct inspections and audits of in-process and finished products, making accept/reject decisions as needed.

-Provide visual aids, inspection analysis, and training to support the inspection process and ensure compliance with quality standards.

-Additional duties as needed.
