Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for am Accounts Payable/Receivable Representative to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

This role is essential in supporting the accounts' payable function, with a primary focus on managing the AP inbox, tracking invoice approvals, requesting PO updates, processing purchase order vouchers, and performing accurate, timely AP and PO invoice entry into Deltek Costpoint. Responsibilities also include supporting the team with various reconciliation and inquiry-related tasks. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication skills, solid organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage a high volume of transactions with efficiency and professionalism.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily flow of the accounts payable inbox
  • Perform data entry of vendor invoices into Deltek Costpoint
  • Process purchase order vouchers accurately and efficiently
  • Act as the primary point of contact for both internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding invoice status and inquiries
  • Monitor, track, and follow up on invoice progress through the approval workflow
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the accounting and finance team to support departmental goals and deadlines
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting support role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Working knowledge of the accounts payable and materials modules in Deltek Costpoint
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment a plus
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills a plus
  • Positive, customer-service-oriented attitude a plus
