Role: Production Specialist - GEOINT Analyst- Mid Level

Work Environment:

    Location: St. Louis, Missouri
  • Travel required: Once per year to DC and possibility of traveling internationally (twice per year)

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will update, maintain and guide implementation and consistent improvement of Foundation GEOINT standards and specifications governing vector data collection and cartographic product assembly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide geospatial technical and subject matter expertise to specifications, standards, metadata, schema, and implementation guides
  • Collaborate with government personnel, contractors and application vendors to standardize and improve data exchange and interoperability
  • Collaborate with national and international partners in the interpretation of extraction guidance, feature requirements, and metadata concepts
  • Apply Esri ArcGIS Defense Solutions to examine physical implementations and cross reference databases for translation between standards
  • Support quality assurance capability developments and associated meetings
  • Develop standards related documentation, training materials, geospatial production and quality assurance workflows using ArcGIS Defense Solutions


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of related experience (a combination of years of experience and professional certifications/training can be used in lieu of experience)
  • Demonstrated expertise in cartographic production of products to include MTM, TM, JOG, TPC, EVC
  • Knowledge of standard geospatial analysis software suites including but not limited to, Esri ArcGIS Pro, Esri ArcGIS, SocetGXP, ERDAS IMAGINE
  • Knowledge of GEOINT digital data formats including but not limited to, vector data, shape file and spatial database, GML, XML
  • Proficiency in Extensible Markup Language (XML), XML Schema Documents (XSD), and Extensible Stylesheet Language (XSL)

  • Understanding of GEOINT products to include, imagery, elevation data, charts and feature data in relation to data capture and finishing processes

  • Ability to prepare comprehensive technical reports, which will include preparing textual and graphic reports on standardization efforts and process developments

  • Desired - A Bachelor's degree in GIS, geospatial science, cartography, remote sensing, environmental science or related field

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain and maintain a Counter-Intelligence (CI) Polygraph.
