As a Security Professional - Media Guard in Hyattsville, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Officer in the Tech/Media/Telecom location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will be crucial in maintaining a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service. This role requires you to engage with individuals in a professional manner, ensuring that all interactions reflect our company's values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Your ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a team will be essential in delivering exceptional service and upholding our commitment to integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• MD Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Possession of a valid Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
