The Production Supervisor Specialist is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production process
within the manufacturing plant. This role involves managing the production team, ensuring safety and
quality standards are met, and coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient production flow. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to solve
problems quickly and effectively. The Production Supervisor-Regeneration provides direction and
assistance to the Ion-Exchange Regeneration work group to meet assigned objectives, production
schedules and customer demands. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make
decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate
action or short-term planning. Key Characteristics

- Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and project management skills
- Proficiency and Ability to read, and interpret technical manuals, procedures, and regulations, and to write various reports
Duties & Responsibilities
- Guide a team of 15+ employees in readying ion exchange products for dispatch for customer fulfillment
- Support daily schedule attainment to meet all internal and external customer commitments with top quality at the lowest cost, implement a strategy to reduce cycle times, and improve quality, service and safety
- Develop, coordinate, lead and execute daily production plans
- Schedules and oversees the repairs of any mechanical, pneumatic, or any other instrumentation located in the plant
- Addresses and resolves issues or bottlenecks in the production process promptly
- Manages, mentors, and trains production staff, ensuring a productive and positive work environment
- Writes SOPs and work instructions for which the Production Supervisor is a SME
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Prior leadership experience and training is strongly preferred
- Experience with plant operation and maintenance.
- Skill or experience with MRP systems, specifically SAP.
- Skill or experience with Google Workspace/Microsoft Office.
- Contract and Resource Management
- Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record history
- Ability and willingness to handle repetitive weight , up to 50 lbs
- Ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial
facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities
Education & Experience
Required:
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing or production environment.
- 5+ years of water treatment or water treatment maintenance experience.
Preferred:
- RCRA / DOT Certification
- Associates Degree in electrical, industrial/mechanical, engineering, chemical or water treatment or professional certification of some type
