2736-990 GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Network Analyst plans, coordinates, and executes installation and configuration of new network nodes (local and wide area) including hardware or software, as well as is responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of those and existing networks. Identifies and resolves any malfunction or technical problems in LAN, WAN and TELEPHONY networks. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION: * Install, maintain, and operate all types of network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, proxy servers, network load balancers and VPN concentrators amongst others) in accordance with company's security and standard operating processes and procedures to assure business operations and effective network communications throughout Dole Americas LAN, WAN and TELEPHONY networks. * Monitor and control network infrastructure performance in the areas of response, throughput, and availability using company provided software tools or interaction with service providers to assure business operations and continuity. * Participate in various IT projects intended to continually improve/upgrade the telecommunications infrastructure by evaluating new software and hardware required to meet a business need or to make a process more cost effective. * Design and implement network architectures, including LANs and WANs, and LAN-to-LAN and WAN-to-WAN communications and connections in accordance with company's architectural guidelines and network standards to provide a suitable climate to run production applications and to allow telecommunications throughout the company worldwide. * Assess, recommend, and select specific software and hardware products participating in tools and vendor evaluations to improve service delivery, efficiency, and effectiveness. * Externally benchmarks the service to ensure effectiveness and cost-efficiency. (NOTE: the benchmark mentioned here implies by itself the "how", thus omitted on this item). * Participate in the evaluation and selection of hardware and software products and vendors, to have and provide to internal customer's the best IT services. * Assist in the collection of data required for assembling the annual DFC-IT and DFFNA-IT budget, in order to comply with the IT department requirements. * Establish and manage vendor relationships with a focus on negotiating contract, monitoring vendors performance, and identifying cost-saving opportunities, ensuring optimal value and compliance with Service Level Agreements and company standards.

CORE COMPETENCIES: * Experience working as a team member with minimal supervision and initiative to work independently. * Cisco Routers and switches configuration and maintenance, 2 years' experience * Cisco Wireless, Firewall and VPN infrastructure maintenance and installation, 1 year experience * Development and implementation of Connectivity projects, 1 year experience * Installation and maintenance of Cisco and Microsoft Teams Telephony networks, a plus * Installation and maintenance of Azure Networks Appliances, a plus. * Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with all organizational levels including executive leaders. * Strong analytical, organization and problem-solving skills. * Strong customer service orientation.
