Hospital Laboratory Technician 1, Pathology Research Portal

The Department of Pathology & Lab Medicine - Pathology Research Portal (PRP) team is seeking a Hospital Laboratory Technician 1 to support research specimen processing and laboratory operations. Primary duties include:

* Batch and process primary research specimens.

* Troubleshoot issues related to specimen orders and tests.

* Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.

* Assist with special study activations and research projects.

Salary Range: $26.39/hour - $34.86/hour

* Understanding of analytical techniques, including weighing, solution preparation, and calculations.

* Familiarity with medical terminology, including anatomy, medical conditions, symptoms, test methods, and treatments.

* Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

* Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
