Overview

Are you passionate about product sustainability and driven by data to make a difference? At Shure, we're in search of a dynamic and visionary individual to lead our key Environmental Product Compliance and Sustainability initiatives across the globe.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end programs and deliverables for Shure's enterprise-wide Environmental Product Compliance initiatives, specifically for environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives. You'll play a key part in strategic collaboration, provide effective communication, and utilize your business acumen to ensure compliance. You will also drive and promote sustainability across the organization.

This position can be performed hybrid from our Niles HQ office, or remotely.



Responsibilities

    Develops compliance strategies & heatmaps for adherence to product environmental requirements & sustainability initiatives such as ROHS, REACH, WEEE, Prop65, EPR, PFAS, EPSR, etc.
  • Provides technical expertise regarding the design of products to comply with domestic and international environmental and sustainability requirements including the interpretation of regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental compliance into all operational processes and projects.
  • Responsible for the monitoring, promotion, and education of product compliance requirements to business stakeholders and continuously highlight business continuity risks for owned areas of environmental product compliance
  • Responsible for tracking status of projects and communicating to business partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and update internal processes, policies, and procedures in accordance with product requirements that establish documented best practices across the team & enhance program performance through continuous improvement initiatives


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Master's Degree is highly desired.
  • Minimum of 8 years of wide-ranging experience with regulatory requirements on a global scale.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, & exceptionally strong acumen for strategic execution
  • Demonstrated technical expertise on environmental product compliance and global market access best-practices
  • Demonstrated evidence of passing compliance audits
  • Ability to handle the day-to-day management/prioritization of tasks, resolution of problems and issues, and experience in implementing action plans to meet objectives

PAY TRANSPARENCY
Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed annually to attract, hire, and retain the industry's top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The base salary range for this position is between $94.600 - $169,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for this opportunity. This position may also be eligible for our incentive pay program, which varies based on individual and Company performance in the year. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
