Overview
VTG has requirements for an innovative, proactive, and service-oriented individual to drive and implement digital-related deliverables for our federal government clients and support the overall operation of digital services. This role is focused on delivering seamless, modern, and user-centered solutions that meet the evolving needs of federal agencies. The candidate will be responsible for tasks related to digital enterprise solutions developed in low code application development platforms like Microsoft Power Platform and UiPath. This includes conducting design thinking workshops, gathering user requirements, performing technical assessments, sourcing, program management, solution deployment, and operational support. The candidate will lead a team focused on rapid prototyping and innovation, engaging with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cutting-edge digital solutions for public sector missions. Additionally, the candidate will ensure quality control and governance throughout the process to maintain high standards and compliance with government standards and regulations. The ideal candidate is a team player and leader with strong interpersonal skills, who thrives on enabling others to succeed. They should have a drive to build a strong portfolio of federal digital solutions while supporting team development through forward-looking leadership and unwavering integrity.
What will you do?
* Lead and drive application development projects for federal clients using low code development platforms to accelerate the application development lifecycle. * Assist and support the Digital Optimization Team in strategizing, defining, and deploying low code applications tailored to federal use cases. * Work closely with stakeholders across VTG and government clients to develop business cases and minimum viable products (MVPs). * Collaborate with internal technical teams and external vendors to deploy and sustain enterprise solutions, ensuring availability, scalability, security, and data protection in compliance with federal standards. * Communicate with clients, internal teams, and partners/vendors to manage programs and changes effectively, ensuring that solutions meet business, technical, functional, performance, security, privacy, and operational requirements. * Lead and coordinate with project leadership to provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications developed for federal agency clients. * Integrate data visualization capabilities within low code applications to enhance decision-making, improve user experience, and support data-driven outcomes. * Continuously improve business, security, and IT processes. Provide technical leadership to ensure applications meet performance, security, and compliance standards throughout their lifecycle. * Define platform governance policies and ensure adherence across development teams using the low code platform. * Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for low code platform use. Collect feedback from teams and end users to refine development processes and platform utilization. * Stay current with industry best practices and lead adoption of agile methodologies and modern system management strategies.
Do you have what it takes?
- An accredited degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related discipline
* At least 5 years of experience in related technical domains, with experience in enterprise environments-preferably within or supporting federal agencies or regulated industries * Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills; self-motivated and effective in team settings * Extensive experience with enterprise digital solutions using low code platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform or UiPath * Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills to effectively convey technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders * Relevant low code platform certifications, demonstrating proficiency in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise applications
VTG's estimated starting pay range is $120,000-$140,000, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
