Description General Summary: Responsible for performing a variety of Systems Administration and End User support activities within the PCX environment. Perform on-site activities to support PCX end users. Work together with the internal IT staff to assist with site projects such as wireless upgrades, Office 365 migrations, CNC machine integration, ERP integration, acquisitions and various reporting activities. Assist with iPhone and MDM deployment. Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software issues. Work directly with a small but dedicated IT team to improve PCX manufacturing efficiencies. Develop hands on skills in a wide range of IT disciplines. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Perform Moves/Add/Changes for PCX end user equipment. Perform first level technical support. Responsible for working through questions and issues from the request through resolution verification. Exhibit a positive attitude to make end users feel comfortable working through their issues. Review and resolve issues with Windows Updates, virus protection and backups. Maintain proper inventory of IT supplies and purchase supplies as required. Assist with integration of acquired businesses. Provide suggestions for improving operational efficiencies and effectiveness. Perform documentation of processes and procedures. Assist with server room reorganization and cleanup. Required to be on-site at the Newington facility a minimum of 4 hours per day 5 days a week. The start and end times are flexible during first shift business hours. Desired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: A strong desire to develop skills in a wide variety of IT disciplines is essential. The employee will be exposed to and working with the following technologies.
