Wecontinue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization. This is a role within Systems' Manufacturing and Production group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department including facility and equipment maintenance/repair, preventive and predictive maintenance; manage spare parts inventory, and (ii) Ensure maintenance, repair, and preventive and predictive maintenance work is completed correctly, efficiently, and on-time. Requires 3+ years of prior supervisory or experience in a team lead type role, 3+ years experience of industrial and facility maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining industrial equipment, a minimum of a High school diploma or GED equivalent and an OSHA 10 certification. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department including facility and equipment maintenance/repair, preventive and predictive maintenance; manage spare parts inventory
- Ensure maintenance, repair, and preventive and predictive maintenance work is completed correctly, efficiently, and on-time
- Manage, coordinate, and supervise third-party providers and other contractors for services related to maintenance and other facility operations
- Oversee and perform safety audits and inspections; fix and repair potential safety hazards
- Develop maintenance policy and procedures; follows and ensure compliance for lock-out, tag-out, arc flash, electrical, and other required safety procedures as needed to ensure safe work practices
- Assist with department budget estimates and cost specific repair projects
- Mentor and train entry-level maintenance techs; organize and lead maintenance training
- Oversee the building and repair of HVAC equipment
- Oversee work on damaged electrical wiring
- Ensure all service work performed and downtime during repair is correctly logged and accounted for
- Interface with local governmental Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) on permit, code interpretation, operations, and safety
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
- Protect Chamberlain Group's and Systems' reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
- Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members
- Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company's policies
- Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications
- Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the CGI mission, vision and values.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- OSHA 10 certification
- 3+ years of prior supervisory or experience in a team lead type role
- 3+ years experience of industrial and facility maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining industrial equipment
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
- Working knowledge of manufacturing machines, cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment
- Ability to complete company safety training related to electrical safety
- Ability to use of aerial lifts and lift trucks
- Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to identify issues and repairs that are needed
- Excellent people management skills
Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance The pay for this position is ($68,900 -$111,200 ); base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
