Marketing Technician

Responsible for the production and certification of small-scale special orders, hazmat products and other critical processes. These batches require qualification methods, data entry and reworking formulas to achieve an accurate color. Hazmat production requires following specific safety procedures and data entry. Support for complaint investigation or experimental batches is also part of this job.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.



  • Demonstrate familiarity with sample production processes and high-performance flooring systems.
  • Utilize basic computer skills, including emailing, record keeping, file uploading, ordering, and inventory management
  • Exhibit strong organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Use basic understanding floor coating chemistry to diagnose potential product quality issues
  • Use hand tools and chemical materials to create flooring system samples.
  • Adhere to production processes and schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports related to sample production and inventory.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate machinery as required.
  • Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.


KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:



  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment


Preferred:



  • At least 1 year of experience matching and adjusting colored batches


TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:



  1. Required:

    • Ability to utilize a computer to process batch tickets, update schedules and enter data related to the operations of the position

  2. Preferred:

    • Operate forklift
