Description We are looking for a Datacenter/ central office technician to join a project we have been working for the past 4 years.. We will be going into these facilities, locating the existing Datakit equipment, finding a location for the new equipment, installing a T-40 mediation device in the transport area, running cables to the new equipment and migrating the Datakit to IP. This will require someone to be 16' in the air and sometimes working under the floor of a datacenter to cable up the devices. This person must also be capable of troubleshooting connectivity issues during the cutover. This job is 100% travel and our technicians leave on Sunday and fly home of Fridays. Some of our guys stay out 2 weeks at a time, some want to be home ever week, so there is some flexibility there. This job is a max 45 hours per week, no additional hours available.
