Job Summary: The Gharib research group seeks an engineer to conduct medical device prototyping in the cardiovascular area with a focus on data acquisition and advanced data analysis. Essential Job Duties Hardware design of pressure monitoring systems In vivo data acquisition Data analysis and and report writing Basic Qualifications PhD in biomedical engineering, medical engineering or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in an academic or industry setting with strong focus on medical device development and data analysis. Expertise in hardware prototyping, including microprocessor-based systems and embedded devices. Strong programming skills, including 5 years experience in Python and proficiency in PyTorch. Experience in signal processing and machine learning for biomedical applications. Preferred Qualifications Programming in C++. Required Documents Resume. Hiring Range $80,000 to $108, 400 per year The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
