JOB SUMMARY
Works under minimum supervision to provide the day-to-day Supply Chain functions (creating requisitions, supply ordering, receiving and distribution) for supply chain operations. This may take place in a warehouse, on campus clinic or lab, or at an off-site Medical Office Building.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required



  • Education
    High School Diploma or equivalent


  • Experience
    2 years of related experience


Preferred



  • Education
    Associate's Degree in related field
    Or 2 years of college-level coursework in related field


  • Experience
    Experience in supply chain operations


JOB DUTIES



  • Performs all the day-to-day Supply Chain functions to meet departmental and customer needs.
  • Generates requisitions for purchase orders, in order to procure needed supplies.
  • Receives and /or oversees the receipt of all inbound freight into the facility.
  • Delivers and/or oversees delivery of all medical supplies and other freight to the appropriate locations.
  • Puts away the medical supplies and other freight in appropriate storing locations.
  • Establishes and maintains Par Levels for all the supplies as needed.
  • Tracks outstanding orders and follows up with vendors on backorders, partial shipments and delayed deliveries.
  • Contacts vendors and vendor representatives to obtain price quotes and other needed information as needed.
  • Works closely with Purchasing and Accounts Payable departments to resolve any outstanding issues.
  • Assists Manager in collecting data needed for analytics. This will requires skills in Excel.
  • Communicates by official e-mail to the University, vendors and customers. Uses electronic devices provided by the university to scan and track equipment.
  • Assists Manager in coordinating and monitoring staff activity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
