JOB SUMMARY: As the Slurry Master, you'll be responsible for participating in a 6-job rotation schedule that incorporates all of the necessary functions to load, operate, unload, and maintain the shot saws. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Using the overhead crane to move granite blocks on and off the shot-saw cars Creating cement mixture to set granite blocks on saw cars Measuring and verifying that all blades are level and are set precisely based on production ticket specifications Completing the saw report by calculating operation kilowatts, steel shot required, and starting point for the saw Programming information into the saw control panel Removing cart wedges to move the car out of the saw; each wedge weighs 75-100 pounds Using a pry bar to separate each granite slab Assisting with setting up the saw car for the wire saw Greasing saws, pumps, cars, and the lime system as scheduled SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Must work safely and be a team player General computer skills Good communication skills Ability to multi-task Ability to read a tape measure, imperial and metric MAKE YOUR MARK AND MAKE IT LAST If you are an individual with a disability and require a reasonable accommodation to complete any part of the application process, or are limited in the ability or unable to access or use this online application process and need an alternative method for applying, please call or text Karissa Lintgen at 320-685-4681 or email Karissa at klintgen@coldspringusa.com for assistance.
