Job Title: Merchant Enablement Manager (Payments Solutions)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Merchant Enablement Manager to drive the onboarding and growth of strategic merchant relationships within the payments solutions sector. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to engage with both external partners (merchants and strategic partners) and internal teams (Business Development, Product, and Operations). You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless merchant enablement process, from initial engagement through to post-launch growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Source new merchant opportunities through outbound outreach (email, phone) and inbound lead follow-ups.



  • Manage and support merchants throughout the entire enablement lifecycle, from initial engagement and integration to launch and post-launch support.



  • Identify key stakeholders and manage the enablement process with merchants and payment partners.



  • Support merchants in optimizing their post-go live experience, including UX audits, conversion optimization, and anomaly detection.



  • Develop and maintain strong, positive business and customer relationships.



  • Onboard merchants in collaboration with technical specialists to ensure seamless integration and an excellent customer experience.



  • Deliver communication strategies to promote payment solutions, through one-to-one or group presentations (including webinars).



  • Track account and pipeline progress, providing regular updates on key performance indicators (KPIs) to leadership and internal teams.



  • Maintain accurate merchant contact information and status updates in the internal CRM system.




Key Qualifications:




  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to navigate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.



  • Self-driven and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.



  • Results-oriented, with experience managing long and short sales cycles and a proven ability to meet sales targets and forecasts.



  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to work through ambiguities while paying attention to details.



  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, with a proven track record in a quota-carrying role.



  • Solid understanding of retail, e-commerce, and/or payments industries is a plus.




Education:




  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.




Additional Requirements:




  • Experience with pipeline management and sales forecasting.
