Senior Metrology Quality Technician

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $35 - $41/hr (Based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Create, validate, and troubleshoot CMM programs and perform First Article Inspections (FAIs).
• Support New Product Development with measurements, GD&T reviews, and early evaluations.
• Apply GD&T and Metrology knowledge to ensure product specifications are met.
• Resolve technical issues and guide Operators, Inspectors, and Engineers.
• Train staff on metrology processes and CMM equipment.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering to verify setups and programs.
• Lead special projects related to tooling fixtures and gauges.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles.

Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of metrology programs and GD&T.
• Extensive experience in mechanical inspection of precision parts.
• Proficient in CMM programming and using inspection equipment.
• Familiar with ERP systems and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent multitasking, attention to detail, and communication skills.
