Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for a Provider Member Liaison Coordinator (Remote U.S.) to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

This role is crucial for educating providers on the Acentra Health prior authorization system and supporting compliance with state policies.

The selected individual for this role:

  • Will interact with providers through multiple communication channels, delivering training on the system and guiding them through key submission policies. Leading training sessions and providing technical assistance are central responsibilities.
  • Work closely with the Program Director and/or Operations Manager to facilitate stakeholder meetings and collect feedback from providers on their satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Acentra Health prior authorization system and benefit specific guidelines for all services on the Utilization Management contract.
  • Provide training and ongoing technical assistance for new/existing providers.
  • Conduct in-person training sessions, ensuring clear communication of system processes, policies, and best practices.
  • Develop educational training content, resources, and user guides for key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Program Director and/or Clinical Manager to organize stakeholder meetings.
  • Coordinate provider satisfaction surveys.
  • Manage provider shared emails.
  • Evaluate provider quality trends and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Associate or a bachelor's degree.
  • 1+ years of experience working on a utilization management team.
  • 5+ years of direct nursing experience in a medical and/or psychiatric clinical setting OR 3+ years of experience working in Provider Relations.
  • 1+ years of experience providing training and ongoing technical assistance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated: Ability to identify opportunities, solve problems independently, and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
  • Problem-solving mindset: Anticipate challenges and take action to address them before they escalate.
  • Ability to travel 10-15% annually to conduct engaging Provider Education.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) to be able to conduct Provider Education.
  • Proficient in navigating multiple systems with the ability to switch between systems seamlessly and effectively.
  • Strong working knowledge of essential software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Provide actionable insights: Share trend analyses and insights with the team and stakeholders, recommending adjustments to improve provider's performance and satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • Master's degree.
  • An active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for the State of Indiana or any compact state.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in reviewing and analyzing documentation against established standards.
  • Show familiarity with adult learning principles.
  • Exhibit the ability to maintain confidentiality standards and ensure HIPAA compliance when assessing relevant issues.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
  • Efficient time management, including the ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

"Based on our compensation philosophy, an applicant's position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level."


Pay Range

USD $58,000.00 - USD $93,000.00 /Yr.
