Inova Center for Personalized Health is looking for a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Lead to join the team. This role will be a full-time day shift from Monday-Friday between 8:00am - 4:30pm

Facilities Maintenance Lead Job Responsibilities:



  • Oversees and assists team members in assigned functional area, which may include but not limited to, overseeing preventive maintenance programs on various mechanical and electrical systems, assist with troubleshooting various equipment, ensuring team is meeting key-deliverables and quality standards, addressing and resolving challenges, managing and tracking performance, and assisting in time management and scheduling; escalates issues to senior leaders as needed.
  • Ensures that all shop team members utilize appropriate safety precautions outlined in departmental policies and governmental standards.
  • Identifies and documents the justification of resources to accomplish the shop's mission.
  • Acts as a mentor to shop assist team members in matters of technical expertise, compensation, work assignments, working conditions and other complaints/problems.
  • Establishes performance standards and expectations while providing effective coaching to meet those standards.
  • Provides continuous feedback on team member performance/produces a written annual performance appraisal within 14 days of the due date.
  • Documents disciplinary measures by following the Human Resources positive disciplinary system.
  • Ensures all documentation related to work orders is received and recorded in the CMMS system.
  • Inspects the campus to develop a tabulation of hazardous deficiencies addressing emergency power, fire alarm, nurse call, life safety, physical plant, construction and maintenance issues requiring correction.



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 5 years of project management or applicable/related experience with one year in a supervisory role


Preferred Qaulifications:



  • Minimum 5 years' experience in supervisor or management capacity.
  • Hands on experience and in-depth understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Professional certifications in HVAC and/or Electrical is strongly preferred.
  • Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
