What You Will Do The Verification and Validation Lead Engineer will be part of CTCTs Electronic Hardware development team, specifically focusing on Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) and Angle Sensors. This position is a fundamental position that enables CTCTs product development team to deliver robust, high quality hardware solutions optimized for performance, cost, and reliability to enable the success of Caterpillar and Trimble in the earthmoving machine grade control markets. This role will provide planning, scheduling, execution, and directing of verification and validation activities as it relates to IMU's and Angle Sensors. This role will be embedded within the cross-functional product development team and will assist with product risk identification, mitigations, and verification activities. The product scope of this role will include new technology, new product, and product improvement activities. Testing scope for this role spans a multitude of venues such as virtual, lab, bench, hardware in the loop, environmental, on-machine, and end-user application testing. This is an exciting role that spans many engineering disciplines across all phases of a products lifecycle. There will be elements of electrical, mechanical, systems, manufacturing, machine testing, and any other discipline that is required to verify and validate our innovative products.
