This position is supporting the day-to-day operations of the practice and staff, as well as care coordination and clinical support to the oncologists and hematologists.

The ideal candidate for this position is interested in being part of a collaborative and dynamic team of professionals dedicated to providing highly specialized care in a busy (and growing!) practice. Compassion, empathy and positivity are required; previous oncology experience is preferred.

This is a Monday - Friday, Day shift position. No weekend/On Call or Major Holidays required.

Summary:
The Manager - Registered Nurse is responsible for supervising and overseeing all operational aspects of the clinical department, including clinical services and staffing needs. The Clinical Manager is responsible for coordinating the clinical work flow in order to provide the most efficient, effective, safe and comprehensive patient care. The Clinical Manager will work with physicians, midlevel providers and clinical staff to increase the volume of clinical outpatient services, referral process, patient flow, and maximize the productivity of each practice location.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current State of Maine RN license required. Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: Five years of experience in the nursing field required. Supervisory experience preferred.
