About the Role

Solenis is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead our Industrial Water team across the Texas Gulf Coast region. In this key leadership role, you will coach, develop, and guide a highperforming technical sales organization while driving growth across a complex and strategically important territory.

The Area Manager ensures that customer programs deliver strong technical performance, that teams operate safely and efficiently, and that commercial targets are achieved. This leader plays a central role in shaping team capability, improving customer satisfaction, and supporting ongoing business expansion.

Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development

* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical sales professionals to ensure exceptional customer service and business performance.
* Partner with HR and the District Manager to evaluate talent, strengthen team capability, and develop future leaders.
* Foster a culture focused on safety, compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Strategic & Commercial Management

* Provide strategic oversight of account activity, ensuring alignment with contract terms, pricing structures, and customer expectations.
* Ensure consistent and effective communication between sales teams and customers.
* Leverage Solenis' product portfolio to meet customer needs and maximize value.
* Support the achievement of sales, gross profit, product mix, and pricing objectives.
* Drive successful execution of new product launches across the region.
* Identify and prioritize growth opportunities to achieve targeted business expansion.

Operational Excellence

* Lead the team in achieving safety and environmental excellence across all customer sites.
* Partner with PTD and Supply Chain to reduce customer complaints and enhance satisfaction through defectfree, ontime product delivery.
* Monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and allocate resources to strengthen program execution.
* Support operational cash flow and working capital targets by reducing AR, controlling inventory, and improving accounts payable.
* Ensure SG&A spending aligns with budget and operational expectations.

Qualifications Required

* Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
* Minimum of 7 years of industry experience (water treatment strongly preferred).
* Experience in pulp and paper, chemical processing, or industrial water treatment.
* Demonstrated leadership experience managing or mentoring technical or commercial teams.
* Strong communication, organizational, and customer relationship skills.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $105,600.00 and $176,000.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
