Overview
The Medical Office Representative 1 coordinates and participates in the daily clinic preparation process, including patient registration, patient check in/out, charge posting/cash management and appointment scheduling. Consistently communicates and documents information to ensure patients' needs are met.Under the direction of a health care provider, the Medical Office Representative 1 also ensures timely flow of patients, and assists physicians, advance practice providers, and nurses to provide optimal care to patients and families. Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette; observes high standard of confidentiality; ability to deal with a large volume of calls and multiple tasks concurrently; memory for details; ability to prioritize and complete tasks under stressful conditions with interruptions; ability to accept and implement change and function in instances where clear directions are not always apparent. Ability to take initiative to support the development and success of role and department. Must be able to work independently as well as function as part of the clinic team. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $15.8per hour - $25.6per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
