 In this role, you will ensure precise home officereimbursement for UC Academic Medical Centers. Reporting to the Director of
 Reimbursement, you will conduct thorough reviews of cost statements, estimate
 facility impacts, and lead critical discussions with key stakeholders. Your
 responsibilities will include staying up-to-date on Medicare and Medi-Cal
 rules, updating Medi-Cal Waiver models, and contributing to the development of
 government reimbursement policies.
 You will: 
     
 Prepareand analyze home office cost statement for UC Academic Medical Centers,
 identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks.
Monitorand ensure compliance with Medicare/Medi-Cal cost reporting rules and
 regulations, while staying updated on evolving policies.
Updateand validate Medi-Cal Waiver models and address audit and data requests
 with precision.
Coordinateand lead weekly calls with Reimbursement Directors, ensuring effective
 communication and follow-through.
Draftgovernment reimbursement policies related to home office costs and
 document recommendations for improvement.
Conductdeep-dive financial reviews of UCOP general ledgers, subsidiary ledgers,
 and other financial documents, providing actionable insights to
 leadership.
Collaboratewith UC Controller Services, UC Reimbursement, and stakeholders to enhance
 reporting consistency and resolve compliance issues.
Presentfindings and recommendations clearly to Reimbursement Directors, driving
 system-wide improvements.
Leverageexpertise in healthcare reimbursement, data management, financial
 reporting, and budgeting to optimize operational efficiency.
 Salary Range: $76,200-$158,800 annually Qualifications
 
 We're seeking a highly skilled professional with: 
   
 Abachelor's degree in a related field (advanced degree preferred).
Atleast five years of experience in healthcare reimbursement or financial
 analysis, particularly with Medicare and Medi-Cal regulations.
Provenability to assess cost statements and financial documents for strengths,
 risks, and areas of opportunity.
Exceptionalleadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a talent for
 presenting findings clearly to diverse audiences.
In-depthknowledge of Medi-Cal financing rules, including Waiver reimbursement
 principles.
Expertisein data management, policy analysis, and financial reporting processes.
Strongproject management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Familiaritywith UC system policies and healthcare reimbursement mechanisms.
Theability to work independently and collaboratively, staying current with
