This is a fully onsite, full-time position supporting the Maintenance Department through administrative coordination, parts purchasing, inventory management, and preventive maintenance program support.

Schedule



  • Full-time, First Shift
  • Typical Maintenance Office Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • MON - SAT, with occasional weekend work as needed based on department and business demands
  • Overtime may be required based on company needs


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide administrative support to the Maintenance Manager, including scheduling, correspondence, and file organization (paper and electronic)
  • Assist with purchasing, parts inventory, and maintenance of the parts room
  • Receive, log, label, and stock incoming materials and parts
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate stock of supplies (oil, grease, parts, etc.)
  • Support execution and tracking of the preventive maintenance (PM) program (training provided)
  • Track parts usage and communicate needs to the Maintenance Manager
  • Maintain organized bin locations and ensure accurate check-in/check-out of materials
  • Assist with general maintenance department operations as needed


Qualifications & Experience



  • High school diploma or equivalent; must be 18 years or older
  • Experience with maintenance inventory and parts purchasing required
  • Preventive maintenance program experience strongly preferred
  • Inventory management experience required
  • Basic mechanical knowledge preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to operate a forklift and company vehicle
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
