Basic Function: Assembles basic production parts according to work instructions and pick list using hand tools, pneumatic press and by operating the bagger machine. Significant Responsibilities: Performs specific job responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications Required: Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 1 or more years in a related field desirable Licensure, Certification and/or Registration: NA Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills; sight sufficient to complete work accurately and to read/understand written instructions. Essential Skills, Abilities & Knowledge: Ability to read work instructions and assembly drawings. Use hand tools and power hand tools. Use pneumatic press and bagging machine. Ability to work in a team setting with minimal supervision. Computer knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel a plus. Working Conditions: While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time (duration of work day). Must be able to lift 30 lbs regularly. Full range of motion is required including stretching, bending, stooping. Noise level is moderate and employee should be able to hear an approaching forklift, machines and alarms. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with a disability to perform the essential functions. Fumes are moderate and an employee should be able to work in the manufacturing environment. Additional on-the-job experience and training: once General Assembler has been accomplished the employee may focus on training in least one additional category. An employee can continue learning skill sets in each category in their entirety until all four have been accomplished. Each skill set category accomplished moves the employee into a higher pay grade.
