IBM End Point Management (IEM) Engineering Support for Marine Corps Cyberspace Operations Group (MCCOG).

Job Description:

Responsibilities Include:

- Resolve IBM BigFix related tickets as they occur, in accordance with the MCCOG Incident/Service Request Management Order and associated ticket priority designation to include fielding and resolving tickets.
- Provide assistance to MCCOG S3/S5 in support of the IBM BigFix application to include, but not limited to, development of plans and procedures for Big Fix usage, and assist the government in developing and implementing engineering solutions for the IBM BigFix application.
- Perform IBM BigFix related server, operating system, and application scanning and patching for vulnerability management, as well as Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) support.
- Create custom fixlet content, Maintain IBM BigFix operator accounts for all system users, Assist MCCOG/MITSC personnel in creating custom reports using IBM BigFix modules such as IBM BigFix Compliance, IBM BigFix Inventory, and IBM Web Reports. Perform IBM BigFix related application maintenance to include biweekly Air Gapping of fixlets and content from the NIPR to SIPR enclaves, Assist in providing IBM BigFix training for MCCOG/MITSC personnel.
- The IBM BigFix training will be a combination of online presentations, other documents, and/or video with screen captures and stepped learning sufficient to provide the remote student with a foundation of system capabilities through functional and use-based scenarios.
- Provide quarterly classroom training, leveraging similar materials and including enterprise-level system lifecycle support responsibilities to MCCOG personnel.
- The type of training for enterprise- level system lifecycle support responsibilities, will serve to ensure up to 10 MCCOG employees have operational sustainment capabilities after the normal 8x5 working hour.
- Support system maintenance windows (occur weekly from 2200-0300 local time to the system location.
- For example, if the maintenance is to occur on a server in Hawaii, the maintenance window would be from 2200- 0300 Hawaii-Aleutian Time Zone [UTC-10]).


TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
